Dr. Lexi Ramsey was born and raised in DuBois, Pennsylvania. DuBois is a small town about 2 hours northeast of Pittsburgh. Growing up, Dr. Ramsey was active in dance, gymnastics, soccer, marching/concert band, and colorguard. She continued to participate and compete in colorguard after she graduated from high school and attended college. Following her years performing, she also choreographed and coached a few different local majorette and colorguard teams.
Being so active as a child and adolescent led to Dr. Ramsey’s curiosity and amazement with the capacity of the human body. In high school, she took advanced biology classes in which she dissected a variety of animals. This only increased her fascination with the complex human form and led her to follow a medical track for her education when she attended Penn State in University Park, PA. Here, she continued to learn and expand her knowledge of anatomy and biology. After hearing a lecture about chiropractic, she began to educate herself on the field and prepared to attend chiropractic school following graduation. Dr. Ramsey graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2010.
Before attending chiropractic college, Dr. Lexi Ramsey worked in a chiropractic office in her hometown. She wanted to gain experience and make sure she had chosen the right field to further her studies. After working first-hand alongside a chiropractor, Dr. Ramsey chose to attend Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC for her Doctor of Chiropractic. While in school, she took an elective pediatric adjusting class and Thompson adjusting course. After graduation from Sherman College in 2014, Dr. Ramsey moved to Pittsburgh to be closer to her family. She has worked in 2 different chiropractic offices in the area before purchasing her own office in the North Hills area.
Dr. Lexi Ramsey currently utilizes Thompson, Diversified, and Activator adjusting techniques in her practice. She focuses on gentle yet effective chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Lexi Ramsey would like to grow her practice with a focus on women and pregnancy.
